The mask is inspired by Inti, one of the most important deities in the Inca pantheon. He was believed to be the son of Viracocha, the creator god, and was revered as the provider of life and light. Inti was worshipped as the god of the sun and fire, and his cult centered in the city of Cusco, Peru. The mask incorporates elements of the Tua aesthetic, featuring diverse materials and techniques in its design
