Inspired by a Colombian woman I deeply admire for her way of sharing knowledge and her detailed accounts of historical moments, I began searching for historian Diana Uribe. Through her podcasts, you can discover a wealth of historical narratives.

Garment inspiration: Storytelling human history

Materials: 3D fabric paint, alphabet round beads, beads in different sizes and types, denim, denim scraps, fabric paint, golden fabric paint, pipe/bugle beads, resine fangs, sequin fabric

Technique used: beaded embroidery, denim scraps sewn onto the fabric, different types of fabrics and textures sewn onto the garment, hand-painted textures or elements on the fabric, ripped fabric texture, upcycled denim
